January 4:
A new publication with the group of Dr. Carine Wouters and Dr. Patrick Matthys on how cell-cell fusion and multinucleation reset differentiated macrophage identity in EMBO reports.
Imaging flow cytometry (ImageStream analysis) enables the proper identification of mono/multinuclear cell populations and provides a more complete evaluation and quantification of the phagocytosis process.

Our PhD student Vincent Lenders will be going on a research stay at The Mitragotri Laboratory for Drug Delivery at Harvard University. The group is highly specialized in advanced drug delivery systems and inventing biomaterials for diagnostics and therapeutic applications. Vincent received a long-term travel grant from the FWO that will support his stay. We wish Vincent all the best on his Harvard adventure!
